In this workshop, we will connect in an embodied, experiential way with the powerful energy of the dragon, as it expresses itself in astrological work.

The Moon’s north and south nodes were known to the ancients as the Rahu, the Dragon’s head, & Ketu, the Dragon’s Tail. They help astrologers to predict when an eclipse will happen, and they are crucial significators of the soul’s evotionary journey.

An understanding of the nodes can reveal the deep karmic patterning of the soul, the imbalance inherited from former lives, that we need to be mindful of in this lifetime, in order to evolve spiritually.

What Will You Learn in this Workshop?

On the Friday evening, John will present an overview of the Moon’s Nodes, what they represent astrologically, how to interpret them in a birth chart, and the how they are connected to solar and lunar eclipses. As part of this we will also be considering the nature of serpentine / dragon energy and its importance in astrological work.

On the Saturday and Sunday, we will move into the experiential part of the workshop, where you will have the opportunity to work with your own north and south node dynamics, and experience the creative tensions between both their sign and their house positions. There will be the opportunity to have your own nodal axis dynamically enacted as a piece of astrological healing theatre.
